
Miguel Damian Bibian and Rome McDonald (Cross Country) – Miguel, a junior, and Rome, a freshman, finished fourth and fifth respectively in the Princeton Invitational this weekend!
James Hall (Football) – James finished the game against Norwood with 14 tackles, 4.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery. That puts him as the league, state, and national leader through five games and only four away from breaking the school’s all-time record.
Makayla Harris (Volleyball) – Makayla helped lead the Lady Titans with a combined nine kills in last week’s games. In her first year, Makayla has proven to bring a great voice and energy for the team while improving every game.
St Bernard-Elmwood Place Girls Soccer Duo – Against Northwest on Tuesday, sophomore goalie Dior Phelps-Patterson had 35 saves. During the game, Dior also got to switch out and come out on the field. She played hard and had some amazing saves, including several dives. Dior has grown so much in the last season in the box, and now on the field out of the box. She shows grit, passion and love for the game. In Thursday’s contest against Clark Montessori, junior Ashley Harris was able to score her first goal. Ashley usually plays defender. When a defender, Ashley is usually ready for anything that comes her way. This game, she got the chance to take a shot, and she took it. Ashley plays every game with heart, grit, and passion for the sport.
