On April 25, 2026, the Ohio High School Football Coaches Association North-South All-Star Games will take place at Massillon High School. These games feature standout senior athletes from across the state, and Titans De’Shawn Hicks and James Hall were selected for the Southwest Ohio roster. Head football coach Kyle Hogan will attend as an assistant coach.
Hicks, sidelined during the 2024 season because of an injury, had a strong comeback campaign in 2025. His 367 receiving yards, 6 receiving touchdowns, and 9 sacks were all career highs. He won several awards, including Miami Valley Conference first team, Cincinnati Enquirer and Southwest Ohio Football Coaches Association All-City second team, and an All-Ohio honorable mention.
Hall had a phenomenal season for the Titans in 2025, and he set new school records in career tackles (367), career sacks (37), most sacks in a season (25.5), and most sacks in a single game (6). For most of the year, he led the nation in sacks according to MaxPreps, a fact that was covered in an article written by WCPO’s Mike Dyer. Although he dropped to sixth on the leaderboards due to playing in fewer games, his 2.6 sacks per game were higher than anyone above him. He was named a Defensive Player of the Year by both the MVC and The Cincinnati Enquirer.
2025 marked the fourth consecutive winning season for the Titans under coach Hogan. SBEP posted its highest win percentage ever, finishing the year with a 9-2 record and going a perfect 3-0 in division games. The Titans were named MVC division champions for the first time in program history.
The OHSFCA North-South All-Star Games begin at 11 a.m. Schools in Divisions I, II, and III will play first, and the remaining schools will play 30 minutes after that game ends.
