St. Bernard-Elmwood Place Titans Clinch Victory Over Norwood Indians

The St. Bernard-Elmwood Place Titans defeated the Norwood Indians with a decisive 43-0 victory on September 20 at Bron Bacevich Memorial Stadium. The Titans showcased their offensive and defensive strength, leaving the Indians scoreless by the end of the game.

Lucas Cannady was a standout player, contributing significantly to the team’s triumph with two passing touchdowns and three rushing touchdowns. Zarius Westbrook and Amare Hicks also added to the tally with one rushing and one receiving touchdown, respectively. De’Shawn Hicks caught an impressive receiving touchdown of his own, further securing the Titans’ lead.

The defense was equally formidable. James Hall spearheaded the defense with 14 tackles and 4.5 sacks, disrupting the Indians’ offense throughout the game. DJ Steele added seven tackles, while Mizion Westbrook made a critical play with a 15-yard interception return, contributing to a stellar defensive performance that kept Norwood at bay. Aiden Rack’s six tackles were the third highest on the team in the contest.

Looking ahead, the Titans are set to face Clark Montessori tonight at Withrow High School. With a current record of 4-1, the Titans are gearing up to maintain their winning streak.
